I know I have a million secret santa's and Christmas presents I need to be working on. HOWEVER! I have a good reason for not doing so.

My drawing computer has finally kicked the bucket D:.

So, I brought my tablet up to my Dad's computer, and downloaded a trial of the newest Photoshop for temporary use until I figure out how to get my Photoshop onto this computer.

I didn't want to screw up the presents by A) Drawing on a computer that actually goes fast before I was used to it and B) Using a program I wasn't quite comfortable with.

So, instead, I drew this. And you know what? I love it. Like...OMG, I can't believe *I* drew that. It isn't quite what I was hoping for when I started, because I wanted it to look like a screen cap but...I got so carried away actually being able to blur what I wanted and where and having fun with the new way of shadows and...yeah :XD: .

Combined a couple ways of doing line art too. I like the look of it. She seems solid.

And wow, water, am I right?

There are mistakes, naturally, because I am me, but right now I'm thrilled with it. Yay :D.

TenTen (c) Kishimoto, though he ignores her, and I pray daily that it remains that way.
Pose reference by :icontaho-stock: .

Edit: OMG guys! 100 favs in under 24 hours? That...is beyond awesome.

Well, you requested critique and while I don't consider myself to be an expert, I'll still give you my 2 cents

- The out of focus background is nice, but the water at least around her feet should be in focus. They are in the focus area considering her feet are in focus.
- I'm not sure, but believe her knee should be on the water as well, causing some rimples.

Well, those were the 2 major things I could think of, there are some smaller issues:
- Shadows (could define the individual joints in the fingers a bit more, make the breast seem a bit more round, don't believe the top of her head should have a drop shadow from the arm on it, should probably have darkened the shadow inside her coat)
- Anatomy (her left knee/upper leg, angle seems a bit off, her leg would not connect to her hips, but a bit higher)

And then what I like:
- The face/expression, nicely done, seems very focused, but somehow also relaxed.
- Hands are also done nicely, couldn't have been any better I think.
- Shadows, consistent and very soft, as it should be in the dark.
- Background, just plain nice, doesn't draw the focus away from TenTen
- Everything, it just fits together, colors, the feeling of the picture and the lighting. It feels soft, but focused

Vision: Like what you tried to do and it comes through
Originality: Well, quite an often used pose (not this exactly, but variations on it)
Technique: Is better than your other drawings I checked. Actually, quite an improvement.
Impact: It has something, dunno what, might be the face, that draws me in.

Either way, love it and hope you find what I said fair.
